Why Activity Tracking Matters

Step 1: Open the Activity Feed
- From your sidebar, go to Activity Feed or Dashboard Overview.
- Here, you’ll see all recent actions from your team and clients—including:
- New tasks created or completed
- Comments added on projects
- File uploads or document shares
- Status changes or deadline updates
You can filter by team member, client, or project to narrow down the view.
Perfect for daily standups or quick check-ins before client calls.
Step 2: Track Internal Team Activity
To see what your team members are working on:
- Navigate to Teams → Members.
- Click a member’s name to view:
- Assigned tasks
- Recent updates
- Project involvement
- Use activity filters to track completed vs. pending work.
Managers and admins can use this feature to balance workloads and ensure no one’s overwhelmed or idle.
Step 3: Monitor Client Collaboration
Client collaboration activity appears automatically when clients interact with their shared projects. You can view:
- Comments or feedback left by clients
- File uploads from the client side
- Task approvals or completed milestones
To access this view:
- Go to Clients.
- Select the client’s profile.
- Click Collaboration Log to see recent activity.
This helps you stay aligned with clients and respond faster to updates or questions.
Step 4: Use Reports for Insight
For deeper visibility, WorkOwl provides visual summaries of activity trends.
- Go to Reports → Activity Summary.
- Filter by client, project, or team member.
- Review key metrics such as
- Tasks completed this week
- Projects updated
- Client comments or approvals
- Team productivity levels

Step 5: Set Up Notifications
Stay on top of collaboration without constantly checking in.
- Click your Avatar → Notification Settings.
- Choose what updates you want to receive (e.g., task completion, new comments, client feedback).
- Decide where you want notifications:
- In-app
- Mobile (if applicable)
Smart notifications keep you informed—without interrupting your focus time.
